Murphy won’t go away

Everybody has one of those days where nothing seems to go right. For me, this whole week hasn’t gone right at all. Got a flat on the highway on Tuesday that almost made me lose control of the car. Wednesday was the fiasco with the water pipes that lasted until Friday afternoon. Did a temporary fix using lots of PVC, and working with an aching back in the hot sun and mud. After I was all happy, I did some cleaning. I cleaned out my deep freeze quite nicely, and when I plugged it back in, BOOM! the outlet shorted out. The freezer is ok though, thanks for asking. Then on Saturday morning, a leak sprung INSIDE the house. I had to shut off the main, since I had to got to work, having skipped it for 2 days. I only just located the leak, luckily without having to demolish my entire wall. The laundry room floor is flooded though. Oh and if anyone finds my flash drive please return it to me. I’ve got some important documents on it. It’s a white Titan 4 gig. Right now, Murphy’s Law is being soundly proven in my life. Something good has to happen this week, because things can’t get worse than they already have.

Now where did I put that mop……?
